Catholic Women's League of Canada

CWL of Canada calls its members to grow in faith and to witness to the love of God through ministry and service. Any woman above 16 yrs can join. Faith, Prayers, Service and Social Justice is our platform.

We meet 1st Saturday of month except July & Aug. These include fundraising activities such as collection of foods and funds for donation to local charities and other organizations. We host Retreats for Lent & Advent, World Day of Prayer, Rosary for Peace and many others. We plan education seminars on Dignities & Rights of Women, and support Domestic Abuse Society. For care of the environment we planted a tree and advocate reuse, recycle and reduce waste. We enjoy social gatherings for coffee, lunch, hold art sessions for recreational activities for members. We award bursaries with funds raised to 2 students at CC annually. Members find these activities connect them spiritually, through prayers, and promotes social justice for the people of God and Canada.
